Throughout and beyond your studies, we can support you to find a graduate job. We host networking events, provide interview and CV support, and offer access to our exclusive online jobs database for all graduates.

Where can I find jobs?

All Sussex students have exclusive access to our jobs database which features hundreds of graduate jobs each year.

You can search by type of work, industry, and location – meaning it’s easy to find the right kind of job for you.


Networking and recruitment events

Our flagship employer events can introduce you to some of the most innovative, emerging sectors of the job market. 

You can connect with a range of employers and Sussex graduates working at the cutting-edge in our ,  and Digital Futures series. You can also start shaping your future plans at our , which are held three times a year at venues including the iconic Amex Stadium – just a short distance from campus.

Suppport after you graduate

Our support doesn’t stop after you graduate. You’ll continue to have ongoing access to 1-1 careers coaching, employer events, and exclusive vacancy listings for three years, and you’ll also be invited to join Sussex Connect – our vibrant digital community where you can network with fellow graduates.

Become an entrepreneur

Join over 800 students who take part in our  each year.

We offer the support you’ll need to freelance, or to launch your own business, social enterprise or creative project. 

We recognise that entrepreneurship is a key skillset valued by the global job market, so we encourage all of our students to engage with our Entrepreneurship Programme. 

You can drop in to inspiring speaker sessions, or take part in our year-long programme of workshops and activities. You might scope out concepts in our startup incubator, or enter your ideas into competitions to secure seed funding, such as our Big Ideas Contest run in partnership with the University of California. 

Our award-winning Entrepreneurship Team works in collaboration with , the University’s on-site business incubation and innovation network, where you can get involved with their services.
