Reporting breaches of DORA principles
If you would like to make a report of a breach of the DORA principles, you can either make a report including your personal details or on an anonymous basis.

Any processing of personal data that is provided is on the basis of the University’s ‘public task’, which is to advance learning and knowledge by teaching and research to the benefit of the wider community. In relation to research, this includes assessing and evaluating research quality. Any information that is disclosed, including personal data, may be used as part of our consideration of whether there has been a breach of the DORA principles. We may also use your personal data as follows:
- To contact you for further information or to keep you informed about your report;
- To disclose details of any breaches of DORA principles if required by the Wellcome Trust; or
- To notify relevant individuals, such as the Head of School or the researcher, that a report has been made by you.
Your personal data will be held securely, with access limited to relevant staff. It will only be kept for as long as is necessary for the purpose of the report.
