Research
My current scientific interests are characterised by two major directions of research:
the study of galaxy structure/morphology and the investigation of environmentally-driven processes on galaxy evolution. I am in particular interested in the following topics:
- internal and environment-driven processes regulating star formation in galaxies
- mergers and interactions and their effect on galaxy structure and star formation
- resolved gas content in high-reshift galaxies
- evolution of galaxies in groups and clusters
- resolved star formation in galaxies
- morphology and structure of low- and high-redshift galaxies
