A training and awareness programme is being developed to support our vision and deliver the objectives detailed below.
Vision
Improving people's behaviour around electronic systems to avoid successful threats and thereby reduce the risk to University systems and data.
Objectives
Develop, facilitate and continually improve training and awareness campaigns for students, staff and researchers.
Improve how people work and study in a secure manner through practical and relevant guidance.
To demonstrate University commitment to information security and communicate why it is important.
Improve people's understanding of how we can all play a part in protecting our information.
To support and compliment the Data Protection programme and wider compliance obligations.
Improve people's awareness of information security incidents, what they are, how to handle and report them when they occur.
