Biography

With exciting previous experience in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Conservation and Socio-Environmental research, and a strong success story in planning, managing and delivering transdisciplinary, multi-stakeholder EU and UK funded projects with an emphasis on Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) I have a strong understanding of the University’s ambition to lead positive environmental and social change. With renewed commitment to dedicate my current professional and personal experience in programme management and leadership, stakeholder engagement and capacity building to deliver high value, impactful sustainability projects.

A proficient and methodical Programme Manager with experience in the conservation, higher education, research and private sector industries I have an adaptive approach to managing, monitoring and reporting for research, development and innovation projects. Understanding the need for comprehensive planning and preparation yet remaining flexible in my approach to often continually moving and changing boundaries, aims and outcomes. By creating strong foundations, based on collaborative structures of project development, I have been able to successfully deliver international and inter-disciplinary projects within strict time-frames and budgets, through effective leadership and management of project teams, feedback and reporting mechanisms.
