Responsible management

Digit Centre

The Digital Futures at Work Research Centre (Digit) studies the way that digital technologies are reshaping work and the impact on employers, workers and their representatives, job seekers and governments.

Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME)

Social responsibility and sustainability are important to us. We incorporate the six United Nations Principles for Responsible Management into the Business School's administration, teaching, research and engagement activities. We collaborate across disciplines to shape global issues in business, management and society, making an impact on policy, practice and people.

Research

Research in our department explores a diverse range of topics, including tackling gender and race discrimination, promoting sustainability across supply chain networks, and exploring gaps in employee engagement, voice and skills, and the effect on organisational performance.

ASPIRE mentoring scheme

ASPIRE is a mentoring initiative to connect students with staff volunteer mentors. While all staff and students can participate, the scheme particularly encourages staff and students from a BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) background to apply.
