Are you exploring the creative potentials of coding in your research and practice? Do you want to learn to code within a community of other people? Are you interested in using code for music, visual arts, interactivity, immersive environments or data visualisation?
The Sussex Digital Humanities Lab will open its doors on Thursday afternoons for people with an interest in creative coding to meet and share the space to code together. Join a supportive and inclusive community of people learning and using coding languages as a part of their research and/or creative practice. Languages and software include, but are not limited to; Max MSP, Supercollider, Live Coding languages, Touch Designer, Python, Processing, p5, as well as older languages for historical and media archaeological research.
All welcome! No prior level of knowledge is required. Bring your own computers, headphones, chargers, snacks and enthusiasm. However, these are not taught sessions but an opportunity to meet others, work together, and skill share, so please bring something to work on
