Introduction to Evaluation – Theory of Change
As expectations around evaluation are growing, learn more about the basics and develop your knowledge and skills for evaluating your own projects.
Whether you’re involved in project management, development, delivery, or evaluation, this introductory session will help you consider objectives, identify your critical assumptions, and visualise the pathway to success.
The first half of this session will introduce basic concepts of evaluation and the second will focus on understanding Theory of Change.
Theory of Change is a powerful logic model approach for planning, evaluating, and enhancing the impact of your projects and initiatives. This training will guide you through the parts of the framework to help you link activities to desired outcomes and long-term goals, providing a clear visual roadmap for achieving meaningful change. Perfect for anyone looking to enhance their strategic thinking and project design skills.

- gain a broader understanding of what and why to evaluate
- the key parts of the evaluation cycle
- a clear understanding what a Theory of Change model is and how it can be used effectively in project planning and evaluation.
